ReplyDeleteUm, sorry guys, what did I miss yesterday? I had to stay home from school, so I didn't get a chance to make it to any meetings.
ReplyDeleteHeh, ya, I missed school too.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea...I'm missing alot lately. :(
ReplyDeleteMr. Sevison asked us to go through and analyze specific witness statements. He gave a great lesson on creating stories where some critical pieces may be missing. We need to really get the facts down. He told us to NOT begin writing questions yet.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if we should open a Google Doc for each team so everyone can make contributions to theories or stories from both P and D perspectives.
ReplyDeleteTwenty six days left until the trial, and we're not writing questions yet? Ahhh.
ReplyDeleteSo many Google Docs to keep track of...
I'm gonna let you guys decide. I think Mr. Sevison's point was that it would be futile...or at least a waste of time to write questions without an overall strategy or story in place. Most of the students hadn't even read all of the witness statements and neither you nor Meredith was able to attend. Let's delete any GDoc's we're not using.
ReplyDeleteGet your facts down; know the case inside and out from BOTH sides (I'm sure they've already talked to you about that), then come up with a game plan. Your game plan/strategy will guide the structure and direction of your questions. Having a strategy will also help you when you get into the courtroom, and something unexpected comes up; you will know exactly where you're headed and how to get back on track.
