So, the schedule for this coming week is as follows:
Monday: no meeting. (Meredith and I are pretty much grounded because of grades. I would still encourage everyone to meet together, at least PRACTICE with your witness/attorney partner.
Tuesday: Flex
Wednesday: Flex and after school, 3-4:00
Thursday: Flex and after school, 3-4:30
Friday: Before school @ 7:15, Flex and after school, 3-5:00
Saturday: Bus leaves at...seven in the morning? I'll let you all know details when I look back at them.
NOW IS THE TIME TO PRACTICE ASKING YOUR QUESTIONS. THIS IS CRUCIAL. It is not enough to simply have them written out, YOU MUST ASK THEM. Witnesses need to have answers MEMORIZED, and attornies need to KNOW THE ORDER OF THEIR QUESTIONS, so they don't have to READ them.
We'll get the next trial's parts and meetings figured out, and let you know soon.
Thanks so much for all your hard work, everybody!

Meetings
Okay, this is crunch time. It is really important for everyone to be at EVERY MEETING possible. Grades need to wait until after school, or sometime we are not having meetings. That is just the way it is. We can't afford to be missing an attorney or witness during flex, or at any of the meetings. We have nine days. Questions need to be done. Consider them overdue.
Witnesses, need to KNOW exactly how to answer their direct questions, and EVERYTHING in their witness statement.
Those are the rules from now on. :)
Anyways,
meeting times are as follows:
Prosecution is meeting TOMORROW at seven fifteen in Mr. Willey's room.
ALL FLEX DAYS, intervention or no.
After school friday
Saturday @ noon at the Orem Public Library, in the basement near the movies.
See you all there!

questions
Alright, everybody should be finishing up their questions/opening or closing statements. Now we all need to collaborate. So, once you are finished, copy and paste them into a comment on THIS POST. Everyone can look over stuff and put in suggestions.
Also, once you are finished, be sure to email your stuff into Mr. Sevison. poetatlaw@hotmail.com
Thanks!

Orem Courthouse, Exhibit A
We TENTATIVELY are scheduled to use one of the courtrooms at the courthouse behind the Orem Library at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Nothing else is scheduled, but it is the day for small claims and they won't know for sure until 2:00 that day. I hate to keep the Batesmobile or other parents on hold, but I think it will be worth the effort if we can practice in a real courtroom.

Also, I received the following email concerning Exhibit A:
Thursday, February 12, 2009 9:23 AM
I have had several calls regarding Exhibit A. It is really difficult to make out some of the rooms, closets, pay phones, etc. One specific question I have received is if there is a public phone in the Science Lab. No.

April 2nd, after school, Casey threatens Sawyer
*note that Casey leaves school through Gate One

To be continued...
